RAVE Sports employee Chad from our Warehouse/Shipping Staff was chosen (and won) a spot on the KQRS Workforce Payroll this week.
For those not familiar with the contest, the KQRS Workforce Payroll is a contest put on by classic rock station 92 KQRS, in which listeners can register for a chance to win $100 per hour on the “payroll”. If the contestant’s name is chosen, they have just under 10 minutes to call in to be put on the “payroll”, and they remain on the “payroll” at $100/hour until another contestant is chosen and calls in.
Chad not only won $100 from KQRS, but also received a second prize in the form of a 6 foot party sub from Subway, which he graciously shared with the office.

Welcome to RAVE Sports’ first ever blog! We have recently launched into the wild crazy web world in a greater way. We hope to connect more with our customers! Check us out on Facebook, MySpace, linkedIn or Twitter!
But for our first blog we wanted to talk about something near and dear to all of us here at RAVE Sports. This is the time of year when we start getting calls from our friends and customers who are opening up their cabins and lake homes. We ourselves are itching to get up to the lake. Except we have to admit that a couple of lucky ones here actually live full time on lakes (this is the great thing about living in the land of 10,000 lakes!). But those of us who go back and forth have the inevitable task of opening up the “cabin”. The comments that followed this article are interesting as well. How many of you would use such a service? We in the office at RAVE Sports were split. I, who hate to clean, would happily pay to get out of that. The cabin for me is a place to go and put up my feet. For our President, he wouldn’t. He loves the puttering and caring that the cabin requires.
